Well it definitely wasnt expected, but I was sure as hell not going to say NO to getting it back.
Had the day off work today, cause as per my last post I didnt want a repeat performance at work. So i slept in, watched Blades of Glory (not as good as I expected) and then decided I will pull of my oil drain in preperation for my turbo turning up next week some time. So Ive been working on it for all of about 5min and I hear a car pull up out the front and a sliding door open, my first thought was *its a delivery van* (thoughts will be contained between ** from now on so remember). I drop what Im doing, look out the window and sure enough. A white delivery van, I open the garage door and he is walking down my driveway holding a Garrett box.
I just for joy and know my turbo has come back WoooHooo. So the rest of the day was spent, getting oil drain and fittings and getting everything ready to refit the turbo. 5pm rolls around the I get home with everything I need.
2hrs, 7cuts and 2 fucked hose clamps later the turbo is back on. Havent started the car as its in the garage and very loud and there might be some oil still sitting in the exhaust so dont want white smoke in the garage.
Will have to wait until Wednesday because Ive got the back of the car jacked up cause Im replacing the rear wheel studs, which I pick up on Thursday.
Well Im excited, Im going to Suzys to sleep and hopefully get rid of this cold.
